The Oakland Medical Centre participates in “Harmoni” our local GP run out of hour’s service.  If you need a doctor for an emergency out of hours please call 111.

If you require health information or advice the NHS 24-hour advice line is also available on 111.

The 111 number is free to call from landlines and mobile 'phones.

The Minor Injuries Department at Mount Vernon Hospital is also open from 09:00 to 20:00 every day

Out-of-hours services are generally busy so please think carefully before asking to see a doctor and only do so if you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

EMERGENCY - In a genuine emergency you should call 999. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
